Why Keep The Sport To Yourself?

Love The Community You Are In!

Let's get one thing straight, you should always love the community you are in. My mom always says "it takes a village" to get my brother and I to where we need to go.

It was time for me to get involved in giving back to my "village." I began working on this basketball court project in early 2020. Covid times definitely slowed the progress of this project but some friends and I kept moving forward (hence the mountains and arrows in my logo...it applies to more then just basketbal)l.

Finally, the fall of 2022 we completed phase one of the community basketball court. It is a high school sized court that is ADA compliant, meaning we can even hold wheelchair basketball events.

Fundraising for phase has been completed. The court now has lights and a working water fountain before the hot summer months get here.

I have also committed to giving back to my community by putting this basketball court to use with a FREE summer camp for elementary aged kids that need a little extra help. Spectrum Hoops Camp will be yearly in June and will include fun training on dribbling, shooting, and drills that they can come back to this very court and practice. Hint, I might even have some recognizable names and my own personal trainers with me at the camp.

The point is, it feels good to leave a community better than you found it. The community is my original fans. They have watched me from the beginning and I can't thank them enough.
